Economic Empowerment And Household Strengthening: CCEPI in an efforts to strengthened the economic condition of household in both LGAs has distributed 10 goats to 10 MVPs but now more than 20 MVPs are benefiting because the goats have reproduced. Economic conditions of some household has improved because CCEPI gave sewing machines, barbering tools and generator sets to some MVPs who are above the ages of 15 years and have never been to school. To encourage them, Economic Strengthening services was provided to them. Now they are yielding daily income to their families and they are living better. Also through VSAL, Samuel, and Simon in Gulak and Pakka testified that they were able to save up to N10, 000 respectively of their own which they have never been able to do in their lifetime prior to CCEPI help.
Households empowerment: In July, 2013, three hundred and twenty households were empowered, In 2013, the project picked another strategy, households empowerment to reach out the vulnerable people as well giving the vulnerable people direct services such as: health, nutrition, shelter/care, education, psychosocial, protection, and economic strengthening which was done indirectly by empowering households (most vulnerable) in Madagali and Maiha Local Government Area. 320 households were empowered (economic strengthening) in Cities, Towns and some Villages.
Referral and Linkages: To increase access of the MVP to the wide range of care and support services, the project collaborated and networked with relevant organisation which served as referral points for services not provided by the organization. The project collaborated with some hospitals including: Shuwa Health Centre, Cottage Hospital Gulak, General Hospital Michika and General Hospital Mubi.
