CCEPI is planning to provide “Safe Home” where MVP can have a place of refuge for protection and safety from external attacks for a few months. Care is also essential for nurturing and growth of people, which can be provided afterward, reintegrating MVP back into their families and communities.

CCEPI advocated and sensitized community leaders, religious bodies, philanthropies and more than 150 MVP were provided shelter by fostering Orphans. CCEPI mobilized some people in Madagali to help in roofing and renovating some MVP homes to provide shelter to some desperate MVP. CCEPI has provided start-up grants that are fostering families through skills acquisition in order to empower them economically.

Our Success Story

One impressive success recorded during one of our project was the initiative by some community volunteers and carers’ forum members of EYN Church, Gulak of Madagali local government area of Adamawa state. They saw the need to take the care and support for OVC beyond support from donor especially foreign donor and so they organized fund raising programme on 12th June 2012 within the church for OVC programme.
